Are you ready to follow along on another wedding held in Conroe, TX? For those of you who are new to our blog, welcome to Madera Estates! Over the years, our team has had the opportunity to host hundreds of weddings at our venue. From the planning stages all the way through the big day itself, we want the entire process to be as stress-free as possible for you and your partner. And truth be told, one of the funnest parts of wedding planning is compiling all of the ideas and inspiration for what your dream wedding day looks like. Whether that be the ceremony where you’ll exchange your vows, the fun-filled reception where you’ll celebrate with your loved ones or anything else, there are plenty of decisions to make before the special day arrives.

With that all being said, here on our wedding blog, we like to look back on past weddings held at our venue. For one, we always enjoy reminiscing on all the special moments throughout the wedding celebrations. However, in addition to that, these can also be excellent sources of inspo for those currently planning their own wedding day. In this week’s blog post, we’re going to walk you through Madeleine and Raymond’s marvelous May wedding from last year. Every step of the way, this wedding was simply stunning! It featured an adorable first look, stunning ceremony in front of the Grand Fireplace, fireworks display, a first dance under the stars, champagne tower and so much more.

Before we get started with that though, we wanted to give a shout-out to all of the talented wedding professionals that helped make this day a reality. We’ll make sure to provide a complete vendor list at the end. Special thanks to By Blake Fountain for capturing all of the amazing photos you’ll see in the collages throughout!

All the Getting Ready Moments

To get this May wedding day underway, we’ll start with all of the special moments leading up to the “I Do’s!”

By Blake Fountain did an awesome job of capturing several detail shots of these stages.

And as you can tell, everything was looking simply stunning! Certainly one advantage of a spring wedding is the beautiful landscaping will be on full display.

At Madera Estates, couples have two “getting ready” suites that they can utilize.

The first of these that we’ll take a look at is the Whiskey Lounge. Raymond and his groomsmen were able to get all spruced up here!

Meanwhile, Madeleine and her besties were getting all glammed up inside the Champagne Suite.

How stunning does our bride-to-be, Madeleine, look with her wedding gown on?

Almost Time for the “I Do’s”

When it comes to fun wedding trends that have become extremely popular, it’s safe to say a “First Look” is an option many couples are adding to their wedding day timelines.

Not only does this allow you to share a special moment with your soon-to-be spouse, but it can also help calm some pre-ceremony nerves and add some flexibility to capturing photos before the ceremony takes place.

In the time leading up to the ceremony, these two were able to snap several photos for their wedding album.

Attention Madera Brides! If you’re needing some photo ideas for your wedding, Madeleine captured some awesome ones above.

With this added time flexibility, Madeleine and Raymond were able to take care of several formal photos, including couple, family, and wedding party photos!

Above and below this, you’ll see a sneak peek at the Grand Fireplace (where the ceremony will take place) and the Hacienda (where the reception will be held).

Bride and Groom Photos

Truth be told, this wedding album simply had more than a few awesome bride and groom photos that we couldn’t not share some of our favorites!

Kudos to By Blake Fountain for utilizing different backdrops for these!

Anyone else ready to see these two tie the knot?!

Ceremony Time!

And now it’s officially time to make these two Mr and Mrs!

The weather was absolutely perfect for this May wedding at Madera Estates!

Madeleine and Raymond exchanged their vows, said their “I Do’s” and just like that, they’re husband and wife!

May Wedding Reception at Madera Estates

With the ceremony complete, let’s make our way inside the Hacienda where the reception took place on this spring evening!

Safe to say everything was looking absolutely flawless for this wedding reception!

We’re loving that “You + Me” sign as an added decor piece.

After guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and a few more formal photos were taken, everyone headed to the courtyard for Madeleine & Raymond’s first dance as a married couple and a special fireworks display (shout-out to our friends at ROAR Over Texas!).

The “twilight” element made this entire moment that much more amazing! Father-daughter and mother-son dances followed afterwards.

Everyone in attendance then made their way into the Hacienda for an evening of celebration!

When we say this reception had a little bit of everything, we mean it! Guests enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Churrascos Woodlands, as well as a lovely wedding cake created by Cakes by Gina.

Anyone thought about adding a champagne tower to their reception activities? How fun!

And once the dance floor opened, it was packed all evening! Toss on a photobooth (compliments of Photobooth and Chill) and this reception certainly had it all.

As the night drew to a close, all of their guests headed outside for a final send-off, while the newlyweds enjoyed one last dance inside the Hacienda.

Is there a better way to close out your “Best Day Ever” than a sparkler send-off surrounded by friends and family?

We would like to give a huge thanks to Madeleine and Raymond for allowing us to be a part of their special day! Our team at Madera Estates wishes you a lifetime filled with love and happiness.

In addition, we would also like to thank all of the talented vendors that helped make this wedding day so amazing. From start-to-finish, it was such an awesome celebration of love!
