Would you agree that every season is capable of adding unique magic to a wedding day? As a venue that hosts weddings year-round, we’re well aware of how true that statement is! Furthermore, given that engaged couples are always searching for ideas and inspiration on how to make their wedding days unforgettable, we enjoy utilizing our blog for that exact purpose, no matter what time of the year they’re planning for their “Best Day Ever.” One example of this is with these wedding recap blog posts that we routinely publish. From start-to-finish, these are perfect for walking through past weddings at Madera Estates, reminiscing on all of the magical moments and yes, providing some inspo to engaged couples!

With that all being said, this week’s blog post will highlight a wedding from this past December. Considering winters in Conroe don’t necessarily get as severe as other parts of the country, you’ll notice couples have some more flexibility on their wedding day timeline, while still capitalizing on all of the awesome winter-themed components. Trisha and Raul tied the knot at Madera Estates with a stunning winter wedding. Whether it be the breathtaking outdoor twilight ceremony (that concluded with a fireworks display), the fun-filled reception in the Hacienda, or countless other memorable moments, we think you’re going to absolutely LOVE this winter wedding at Madera Estates.

Before we start walking through Trisha and Raul’s special day, we would first like to give a big thank you to all of the talented vendors that helped bring this wedding to life! This includes the talented Ivan Garcia Studio, who captured all of the photos you’ll see in the collages throughout. By the way, we will provide a complete vendor list at the end for those who may be in the vendor selection stages for their own wedding.

Pre-Ceremony Moments

It goes without saying that every wedding day is filled with so many magical moments, including more than a few before the actual ceremony.

How stunning are these detail shots? And, of course, we can’t ignore Trisha’s magnificent wedding dress either!

Safe to say this is going to be quite the winter wedding!

For those of you who are familiar with our venue, you may know there are two getting ready suites that couples can utilize.

The first of these, which is called the Whiskey Lounge, is where Raul and his groomsmen were getting all spruced up.

The second getting ready suite, known as the Champagne Suite, would be where Trisha and her besties got glammed up!

In addition, before getting her wedding gown on, Trisha also took the opportunity to capture a few solo shots around the property. We have to say this is an awesome addition to their wedding album!

Anyone else loving this color palette? Black, white and burgundy is definitely a combination you can’t go wrong with!

First Look, Couple and Wedding Party Photos!

With the ceremony quickly approaching, we’ve reached the increasingly popular first look moment. These are becoming more and more common in weddings nowadays, and we don’t see that trend changing anytime soon!

During this time before the ceremony, Ivan Garcia Studio was able to take care of several formal photos.

This included several of Raul and the guys.

And a few of Trisha and her besties as well. We’re definitely fans of those burgundy-colored bridesmaids dresses!

Who is ready for this winter wedding?

Before we get to the ceremony though, there were a few couple photos that we had to share!

It’s not hard to see just how excited these two are.

A quick sneak peek at the Grand Fireplace (where the ceremony will soon be held) and then we’ll be making our way to the “I Do’s!”

Winter Wedding Ceremony at Madera Estates

As evening began to settle in, the twilight components of this winter wedding took center stage.

After their friends and family had been seated, this winter wedding ceremony was officially underway.

Safe to say these photos show just how magical this twilight ceremony was.

And before you know it, Raul and Trisha are officially Mr and Mrs!

Right after the ceremony, a stunning fireworks display lit up the sky (compliments of our friends at ROAR Over Texas)!

Cocktail Hour, Reception and Sparkler Send-Off

Next on the wedding day timeline?

Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour (which included some music from Mariachi Voz Juvenil), while the wedding party headed to the Whiskey Lounge where the marriage license was signed. In addition, the couple utilized this time to capture a few more family formal photos!

Now we head inside to the Hacienda, which is where this winter wedding reception would take place.

After the bride and groom made their grand entrance, everyone enjoyed a delicious meal from Zara’s Mediterranean Kitchen, which was followed by some special toasts and of course, a beautiful wedding cake!

From the details on this cake to the precious cake topper, this one was truly a work of art. Kudos to Cakes by Gina!

Wedding days are filled with so many memorable moments and cake cutting is definitely a part of that list.

Next on the agenda is another wedding day favorite: the first dance as husband and wife!

Shortly after that, we had the always-special father-daughter and mother-son dances.

And then it was officially time to open up the dance floor!

The DJ for this wedding (A.M. Productions) made sure the dance floor was packed all night and J & D Entertainment added a fun twist with their LED dancers!

Simply put, this was such a fun celebration from start to finish!

As the night came to a close, Trisha and Raul’s loved ones headed outside to prepare for the final send-off. In the meantime, our newlyweds enjoyed a final dance in the Hacienda, which is a trend we’ve seen becoming more and more popular!

Last, but certainly not least, is there a better way to finish your “Best Day Ever” than with a sparkler send-off?

Thank you so much to Trisha and Raul for allowing us to be a part of your special day! We wish you two a lifetime filled with love and happiness.

Wow, how awesome was that winter wedding celebration? We would like to thank all of the amazing wedding pros that helped make this day so magical! This includes the awesome Ivan Garcia Studio who captured every moment so flawlessly with the photos seen throughout this blog post.
