Considering our blog routinely focuses on different parts of the wedding planning process, it’s probably no surprise that the term, “wedding vendors,” is mentioned quite regularly. After all, they are a huge part of the entire wedding day and as such, you’ll want to take your time filling out your vendor dream team. Furthermore, for those that are currently in the wedding planning process, you likely also know there are several wedding vendors involved that you’ll need to select. Not to mention, if you live in a larger city (like Houston and the surrounding areas), you’ll find there are quite a few wedding vendors to pick from. With that being the case, anything you can do to narrow down your possible options will be well worth it. All in all, wedding vendors are an integral part of any wedding celebration and will be the focal point of this week’s blog post.

Prior to getting into that though, we would like to provide an introduction to anyone that may be stopping by our blog for the first time. Welcome to Madera Estates! We are a luxury wedding venue and event space located in Conroe, TX. Professional Photographer

In the next section, we’ll highlight a few of the wedding vendors that are must-have’s and ones that you’ll find at just about every wedding celebration. However, we definitely felt like featuring your wedding photographer would be a great way to start this blog post. Every couple wants amazing wedding photos that they can share with loved ones, look back on and reminisce on their “Best Day Ever!” Who else agrees with that? Well, in order for that to be a reality, you’re going to need a talented photographer capable of capturing every single moment flawlessly. Whether that be the getting ready moments, the ceremony, reception or even the final send-off, you’ll want an experienced photographer that knows all the right spots to be at in order to capture the memorable moments. If they have experience working weddings at the venue you’ve selected, even better! This will also ensure they know of some picturesque backdrops to utilize for photos as well.

The Must-Have Wedding Vendors

As we mentioned above, your photographer is a crucial wedding vendor, but the list of must-have wedding vendors goes much deeper than that. Here are a few more we always recommend for any wedding celebration:

Florist – Beautiful flowers are a must for any wedding, right? Whether they’re featured during the ceremony or on the tables at the reception, having a professional florist will only add to the magic of your wedding day.

Caterer and Cake Baker – Speaking of must-have wedding vendors, you can’t ignore the food either, right? The caterer will be responsible for delivering an exceptional meal (and possibly also apps for the cocktail hour as well!), while the cake baker will create a dessert that all of your guests will love.

Entertainment – Whether it be a DJ or live band, the addition of music to your wedding reception will keep the dance floor packed all night!

Glam – On previous blog posts, we’ve mentioned how the “getting ready” moments can be something every couple remembers. Those special moments with your besties will be an experience you will always hold close to your heart. Well, during these moments, you’ll also have your glam squad there getting you all ready to go as well!

While there are plenty of other wedding vendors that can be considered must-have’s, we wanted to highlight a few here to give you an idea of who all may find their way onto your wedding vendor dream team.

Need a Special Keepsake of Your Big Day?

There’s a reason why we chose to feature wedding photographers at the start of this blog, as every couple wants something tangible they can have to look back on their big day. There are two other examples of this exact same thing. First, we have the wedding videographer, which is in a similar category as a photographer, but also creates something entirely different. A wedding video captures all of the special moments in real time. That could be the toasts at your reception, the vows being exchanged at your ceremony or even just the overall joy on this memorable day. Plus, you have different options as to the style and length of video as well.

The second wedding vendor we wanted to highlight in this part is a live wedding painter. This is certainly a newer trend in the wedding industry (compared to those we’ve already mentioned), but is more than capable of creating such an awesome keepsake. It’ll be a cool experience for your guests to check out during the reception and is yet another way to capture a memorable moment from your “Best Day Ever!”

How About a Photo Booth?

One thing we’ve noticed when working with engaged couples is an emphasis on creating a fun and exciting wedding reception. And as you can probably guess, today’s wedding world includes more ways than one in which you can make your wedding reception a fun-filled experience for everyone in attendance. While photo booths at weddings definitely isn’t an entirely new concept, there are plenty of possibilities for couples to consider. This includes the 360 photo booths, which add a fun element to this popular reception activity. All in all, as you’re planning out your wedding reception, a photo booth is worth considering!

Who Doesn’t Love Fireworks?

When it comes to wedding vendors that we’ve seen become a mainstay at Madera Estates, hiring someone for a fireworks display has quickly turned into a popular option. It’s the perfect example of something you won’t see at every single wedding, but when a couple does include it, chances are their guests won’t stop talking about it in the months (and even years) to follow! If you scroll through our Facebook or Instagram pages, you’ll see wedding day fireworks shows on plenty of occasions and the photos are simply magical. The one key caveat is to make sure you hire an experienced professional for this, as you don’t only want the fireworks display to be magical, but also done in a safe manner.

Book With an All-Inclusive Wedding Venue!

As you can probably start to see, there are several wedding vendors that you’ll likely look to hire for your big day. And while it can seem a little overwhelming, there are ways to simplify the process. First and foremost, it’s always a good idea to use a timeline/checklist in the months leading up to your big day to make sure you’re staying on schedule and not forgetting any important items. This will help prevent you from forgetting any important wedding vendors. Another way to streamline the vendor selection process is to consider booking with an all-inclusive wedding venue. With these packages, you’ll have several of your vendors already taken care of with the venue’s recommended vendors.
