Have you ever attended an open house at Madera Estates? Typically, twice a year, we host our open house that is called Madera Nights. This is the perfect opportunity for engaged couples, their friends and family, wedding vendors or anyone else to check out the venue in-person. Guests are provided free appetizers, drinks and live music while they mingle with over 20 local wedding vendors. Not to mention, we usually close out the night with a firework display as well! What more could you ask for?
For those new to our venue or wedding blog, welcome to Madera Estates. Located in Conroe, TX, we’re pleased to host everything from weddings and quinceaneras to company parties and really any other event you can think of! As you’ll notice throughout many of our blog posts and social media content, weddings are definitely our most popular event. As such, we always enjoy providing engaged couples with some of our favorite tips for a seamless wedding planning experience, in addition to inside looks at real weddings held at Madera. You can probably guess this based on the opening paragraph, but today we’ll be highlighting our most recent open house, which was held this past January.
We’ll feature different aspects of the venue and several of the vendors that helped make the evening so special. By the way, did we mention that there was also a fashion show by the Grand Fireplace? Who’s ready to experience Madera Nights?!
Before we get started though, we would like give a special thank you to Ama by Aisha #AmaByClaudia for capturing all of the amazing photographs featured in this blog. The complete album turned out amazing!
Inside the Hacienda
We’ll kick off this fun evening at Madera Nights inside the ballroom, which is also referred to as the Hacienda.
From the crystal chandeliers to the artisan feature walls, the Hacienda can be the perfect space for an intimate ceremony or a fun-filled reception (or if the weather throws a curveball on your wedding day, it can be used for both).
The beautiful floral arrangements featured throughout the interior are the work of the talented teams at Carter’s Florist and College Park Flowers. Meanwhile, all of the rentals are courtesy of our in-house styling service known as Madera Luxe.
How adorable is this set-up for the bride and groom’s seating for a wedding reception?!
Local Wedding Vendors
As we mentioned in the opening paragraphs, a major theme at many of our open houses is the opportunity for engaged couples to mingle with local wedding vendors and learn more about their services.
Throughout this blog post, we’ll try to highlight many of these talented companies. Pictured above we have two that are quite popular amongst our couples. Roar Over Texas has been the one who has produced several of those jaw-dropping firework displays featured on our social media pages. As for DJU Entertainment, they’re the ones responsible for keeping the dance floor filled up all night long!
Pictured below is Texas Party Animals, who have also provided some of the most precious wedding moments you can imagine. With their trained alpacas, they are sure to be a hit at any wedding they’re a part of!
The Grand Fireplace
Before we carry on with more of the wedding vendors on-site, we thought you might want to take a look at the Grand Fireplace! We mentioned it once above, but it truly is one of the signature backdrop pieces at Madera. Whether it be for an outdoor ceremony, reception or even a final dance under the stars, it checks all of the boxes! More to come from this part of the venue!
More Wedding Vendors
Want to learn more about the different wedding vendors that took part in our open house? Here’s another one to add to your list! Divisi Strings produces amazing music that can be used in your ceremony or even the cocktail hour. Everyone definitely enjoyed having them at our open house!
Delicious food is obviously a MUST at any wedding celebration, right?
Guests at Madera Nights certainly had plenty of tasty treats to pick from. And each of the catering companies that were there on this January evening are ones we feel confident recommending – Cafe Natalie, The Hometown Chef and Churrascos!
And just as delicious catering is important, the same can be said for the wedding cake as well!
Cakes by Gina is certainly one of the best in the Houston area when it comes to creating timeless and delectable cakes. Not to mention, groom’s cakes are always a fun way to add a unique twist to your big day!
If there’s one thing you can never have too much of at weddings, it’s music! Special thanks to the talented folks at Mariachi Los Gallitos for stopping by and providing live music at the open house.
Nothing beats a good barber, right? Our friends at Galindo’s Barbershop were set up inside the Whiskey Lounge. They certainly have a talented team that will have all of the guys looking sharp for the special day!

Tequila Tasting
As the sun was starting to set, there were just a few more surprises left in this fun evening! The first of these fun surprises was a tequila tasting, which took place just outside the Hacienda.
Fashion Show with Firework Display!
To cap off this fun-filled evening, Renegade Bridal & Gala wowed everyone with an on-site fashion show in front of the Grand Fireplace and showed off some of their stunning wedding gowns!
Definitely an awesome ending to a memorable open house at Madera Estates!
And in case you thought we forgot about the fireworks, there was no chance we were letting this night come to a close without having them on full display! Kudos to Roar Over Texas!
