These two tied the knot earlier this year with a spring wedding that featured an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. From the beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony in front of the Grand Fireplace and the stunning floral arrangements scattered throughout the venue to the fun-filled reception and everything else, this truly was a memorable wedding day! With this week’s blog post, we’ll walk through several of the various moments included and hopefully provide you with some ideas for your own wedding day. Trust us, there are plenty of them in this magical wedding celebration!
Before we get started with that though, we would first like to give a big thanks to all of the talented vendors that helped make this beautiful wedding day a reality! Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to work with so many amazing wedding professionals and there’s no denying that they impact a wide range of different aspects on a wedding day. Whether that be the delicious food at your reception, photos highlighting the different moments throughout, or countless other components of a wedding, creating your dream team of vendors will be an important part of the planning process. Over the course of this blog post, we’ll mention several of the vendors included in this wedding, as well as provide a complete vendor list at the end. Now…let’s take a look at Sarah and Guy’s spring wedding at Madera Estates!
All the Details
Before we get into the “getting ready” moments, I thought it would be a perfect time to feature a few of the detail shots captured by Swish and Click Photography!
As you’ll see here and throughout the rest of this blog post, they did a wonderful job at snapping photos of many different aspects of this wedding celebration!
Getting Ready Moments
In the hours leading up to the ceremony, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy some time with your besties as you get all glammed up for the big day!
Here at Madera Estates, couples have two “getting ready” suites that they are able to utilize – the Champagne Suite and the Whiskey Lounge.
First Look
The “first look” is definitely a trend which has become extremely popular in the wedding world!
Sarah and Guy went with a “first look” and I think everyone would agree that these photos show exactly how precious this moment was!
In addition to a number of other advantages, a “first look” will also allow you and your partner the opportunity to capture several of your formal photos before the ceremony! Whether that be with your wedding party, family members or anyone else, this flexibility can certainly help in the transition from ceremony to reception.
Wedding Party Photos
As mentioned above, because Sarah and Guy went with a “first look,” they were able to capture several of their formal photos before the ceremony.
Among those formal photos, this included photos of Sarah and her bridesmaids in front of the Grand Fireplace (where the ceremony would soon take place), along with some solo photos of our bride-to-be. By the way, how stunning is that bridal bouquet?!
Guy and the groomsmen were all smiles as they captured their formal photos as well!
And, of course, they also included photos of the full wedding party! Who else is ready to see Sarah and Guy tie the knot?
Time for the “I Do’s”
Now that all of the pre-ceremony activities are complete, it’s officially time to make these two Mr and Mrs!
It’s safe to say that everything was looking absolutely picture-perfect for this April wedding celebration. We’re loving these stunning floral arrangements from College Park Flowers!
Even if you go with a “first look” before the ceremony, there will still be plenty of emotions as you see your spouse-to-be on that walk down the aisle!
Anyone else agree that this perfect April weather, combined with the Grand Fireplace as the backdrop, created an amazing setting for this spring wedding ceremony?
And just like that, Sarah and Guy are officially husband and wife!

Wedding Reception Time!
For Sarah and Guy’s spring wedding, their reception would take place inside the Hacienda, which serves as the ballroom at Madera Estates and can be utilized for both ceremonies and receptions!
Everything looked simply stunning inside, as well as the delicious food provided by Churrascos Woodlands!
Once everyone had made their way into the ballroom, it was time for Sarah and Guy to make their grand entrance, and enjoy their first dance together as husband and wife!
What a special moment for these two!
To sum it up, this wedding reception really was so much fun! Everyone in attendance enjoyed delicious food, plenty of time on the dance floor and a photo booth too. The perfect recipe for a memorable reception on your “Best Day Ever!”
Oh and did we mention there was also Whataburger served later on in the evening?!
Along with this cute set-up for wedding favors, we have to say that Sarah and Guy did an excellent job with their wedding day vision!
As their guests lined up outside, it was time to send these two off in style.
It is tough to find a better way to wrap up a wedding day than with a fireworks display, right? Shout-out to our friends at ROAR Over Texas for another marvelous fireworks show!
