Having witnessed hundreds of wedding celebrations over the years, we can confidently say that every ceremony and reception is unique in its own way. We always look forward to meeting with couples as we learn more about what they have envisioned for their special day. Furthermore, with so many new trends consistently rising in popularity in the wedding industry, we love hearing about the different themes, styles, reception ideas and so on!
For those who have followed some of our prior blog posts, you likely know that we often take inside looks of past weddings held at our venue, Madera Estates. If you’re engaged and in the process of planning your own wedding, this can be the perfect way to not only get inspiration and ideas for your own big day, but also get some vendor options. After all, selecting your team of vendors will be a big part of the planning process. With that all being said, today’s blog post will feature Peyton and Derek’s celebration. These two tied the knot earlier this year with a beautiful wedding that included a first look, sparkler send-off and more!
Before we get started though, we would like to thank all of the talented vendors that helped make this wedding so amazing! We’ll include a complete vendor list at the end of this blog post. By the way, special thanks to Valerie Thompson Photography for all of the photos displayed throughout!
Pre-Ceremony Fun
When it comes to looking back on a past wedding, the best place to start is with all of those special moments before the ceremony and that’s what we’ll begin with for Peyton & Derek’s big day!
At Madera Estates, there are two “getting ready” suites available for couples to use. One of those suites is called the Champagne Suite, which is featured in the photos above and below this.
By the way, how stunning is that gown (kudos to Lovely Bride) that our bride-to-be, Peyton, will be wearing for her wedding?
Meanwhile, after getting ready in the other suite (called the Whiskey Lounge) with his groomsmen, Derek was all ready to go for the day’s festivities.
Next on our list is the first look, which always creates the most precious moments and photos! It is a great way to help calm any pre-ceremony nerves, which can definitely be a plus!
Peyton and Derek opted for a first look before their wedding ceremony and we have to say their location selection for doing so was perfect! They even had the opportunity to share a letter with each other during this special moment.
Another added-advantage of having a first look is the fact that it provides some flexibility as to when you’ll take several of the formal wedding photos.
Peyton and Derek utilized this extra time to take a number of photos around the venue, including pictures with their wedding party.
With a classic black and white color palette, it’s safe to say this would be an absolutely beautiful ceremony!
Shout-out to Valerie Thompson Photography for utilizing a variety of backdrops for these wedding photos! Stunning!
Before we continue on to the ceremony, we did want to share just a couple more of our favorites of these two!
Time for the I Do’s
And before you know it, the ceremony is here and we’re ready to make these two husband and wife!
Peyton and Derek had their outdoor wedding ceremony in front of the Grand Fireplace, which serves as a signature backdrop for many weddings at Madera Estates.
After exchanging their vows with a twilight ceremony filled with plenty of candlelight, the couple are officially Mr and Mrs! Time for a marvelous fireworks display from the talented team at ROAR Over Texas!
Wedding Reception at Madera Estates
As guests made their way into the Hacienda, the wedding party enjoyed a glass of champagne to start the celebration!
As briefly hinted at above, these newlyweds would be celebrating their wedding reception inside the Hacienda.
It’s not hard to see how everything was looking picture-perfect!
Whether it be the illuminating candles scattered across the tables, the beautiful floral arrangements from Carter’s Florist & Nursery or anything else, the photos turned out simply beautiful!
We often say that wedding planning is filled with so many details. Well…if you’re engaged and needing some ideas for those specific details, this would be a great wedding album to check out. We love how the custom guest book turned out!
Now…it’s time for the reception to get underway! Upon making their grand entrance into the Hacienda, Peyton and Derek enjoyed their first dance together as husband and wife.
As you likely know, there are numerous components that make up a reception. Guests at this wedding enjoyed a tasty meal from The Hometown Chef Catering Co., before the newlyweds cut into this beautiful and delicious wedding cake courtesy of Cakes by Gina.
Another must-have for any wedding reception are toasts, right? The room was filled with laughter and memorable moments as some of the couple’s loved ones shared a few words.
Just like that, it was time to open up the dance floor. DJ Out West did a wonderful job of keeping it filled up with plenty of dancing throughout the evening!
Last, but not least, one great way to cap off the “Best Day Ever” is with a sparkler send-off! Congratulations to Peyton and Derek!
What an amazing wedding celebration! We want to thank Peyton and Derek for allowing us to be a part of their big day. We wish you nothing but the best, and hope you enjoy a lifetime filled with love and happiness!
