Engagement season is right around the corner! Without a doubt, this is such an exciting time and we always enjoy seeing all the magnificent ring selfies that find their way onto Instagram! For those of you who are familiar with our wedding blog, you may know that we routinely post inside looks of past weddings held at our venue, Madera Estates. This can be a great source of ideas and inspiration for couples that are currently planning their big day. Not to mention, we always enjoy reminiscing on these marvelous wedding celebrations and the countless memorable moments included throughout!
Having said that, as you can probably guess, this week’s blog post will cover a recent wedding that took place at Madera Estates. Mayra and Cam tied the knot earlier this year with an absolutely stunning summer wedding. From the beautiful floral arrangements and precious first look before the ceremony to the fun-filled reception and even a fireworks display, this summer wedding had it all! Throughout this blog post, we’ll walk through several moments from their “Best Day Ever!” Before doing so though, we would like to give a big thanks to all of the talented wedding vendors that helped bring this special day to life. This includes San Angel Photo, who supplied all of the amazing photos featured throughout the blog post. We’ll provide a complete vendor list at the end!
Details. Details. Details.
When planning a wedding, you’ll quickly notice there are more than a few details you’ll need to finalize along the way. Whether that be in regards to vendor selection, decor or anything else, there are plenty of ways to make your wedding one-of-a-kind.
As you’ll see throughout the various photos, Mayra and Cam knocked it out of the park with each of their selections! By the way, how stunning is Mayra’s wedding gown?!
For this summer wedding, these two tied the knot with an outdoor ceremony in front of the Grand Fireplace.
That ceremony would then be followed by a wedding reception inside the Hacienda, which was truly set up flawlessly. Between the glassware, charger plates, floral arrangements and so on, we can’t wait to share more from this celebration!
Before the “I Do’s!”
At Madera Estates, there are two “getting ready” suites that couples can utilize – the Champagne Suite and the Whiskey Lounge. After getting all glammed up in the Champagne Suite, our bride-to-be, Mayra, was able to snap a few photos in her stunning gown.
Meanwhile, Cam and the guys were doing the same, as they got all ready to go in the Whiskey Lounge. Who else is ready to see these two tie the knot?
We mentioned above how wedding planning is full of decisions. Well…one of those will entail deciding between a first look, first touch or first seeing your spouse-to-be on the walk down the aisle. Truth be told, you can’t go wrong with any of the options!
Mayra and Cam went with a first look, which can be the perfect way to share a special moment with your soon-to-be spouse before the day’s festivities get underway.
In addition to the first look, Mayra and Cam were also able to take several of their formal photos before the ceremony too, including those with their wedding party.
Safe to say everyone was all smiles as the ceremony drew near!

Summer Wedding Ceremony at Madera Estates
As mentioned earlier in this blog post, Mayra and Cam’s ceremony would take place outside in front of the Grand Fireplace.
For those that follow us on Facebook or Instagram, you likely know that the Grand Fireplace is a popular backdrop for outdoor wedding ceremonies at Madera Estates.
Surrounded by family and friends, Mayra and Cam exchanged their vows and said their “I Do’s.”
And before you know it, these two are officially Mr and Mrs!

Summer Wedding Reception at Madera Estates
After guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and a few more formal photos were taken, everyone headed to the courtyard for a special first dance between Mayra and Cam.
With the string lights above, this was a simply magical moment for the couple! By the way, did we mention there was also a fireworks display to add to the magic? Shout-out to our friends at ROAR Over Texas!
After that, guests made their way into the Hacienda and the newlyweds made their grand entrance to the ballroom before doing a champagne tower.
Toasts always add to the fun of a wedding reception and a few of the couple’s loved ones gave wonderful speeches on this evening.
Speaking of wedding reception traditions, the cutting of the wedding cake has to be one of the oldest traditions! Kudos to Cakes by Gina on creating this beautiful wedding cake.
After a night filled with plenty of dancing, it was about time to send these two newlyweds off, but before that, Mayra and Cam enjoyed a final dance together. If you’re currently planning out your wedding day timeline, we definitely encourage you to consider adding this!
And when it comes to closing out the “Best Day Ever,” it’s tough to go wrong with a sparkler send-off! Cheers to the newlyweds!
