Wedding Styled Shoot in Conroe, TX

As a wedding venue in Conroe, TX, it’s safe to say we get to work with some pretty talented vendors! From photographers capable of capturing all of the picture-perfect moments and caterers creating delicious food to the florists with their beautiful floral arrangements and so much more, there’s no doubt that this area is filled with incredibly skilled wedding professionals.

For those that have checked out some of our prior blog posts, you’ve likely seen a mixture of wedding planning tips and inside looks at real weddings held at Madera Estates. However, this week’s blog is going to look a little bit different. This past September, we were pleased to be a part of a styled shoot at our venue. Styled shoots are the perfect way for wedding vendors to showcase some of their work in a wedding-themed environment. Without a doubt, they’re always fun to work on and we’re excited to give you an inside look at this one from earlier this year.

Before getting started though, we would like to welcome any new visitors to our blog. Located just north of Houston and The Woodlands, Madera Estates is a luxury event space. With an indoor and outdoor setting available, our goal has always been to make dream weddings come to life. From the “getting ready” moments to the final send-off and everything in-between, hosting weddings is something that never gets old!

As mentioned above, today we’ll highlight a recent styled shoot at Madera Estates. Hats off to all of the talented vendors that were featured in this shoot, including Dark Roux Photography for the amazing photos displayed throughout this blog post.

15-Foot Tall Wedding Cake?!

When we say this styled shoot included a little bit of everything, we really did mean it! With that being said, have you ever seen a 15-foot tall wedding cake?!

As we often say, the wedding ceremony and reception are filled with traditions that’ve been around for quite some time. And the wedding cake is certainly one of those traditions! How beautiful is this creation from The Chocolate Llama? With the table included, this beauty measured in at 15-feet tall. Talk about a statement piece for a wedding that everyone will remember!

Want to Add a Unique Twist?

When it comes to planning a wedding in today’s day and age, there’s no doubt that your options are endless! Firework displays, photo booths, live entertainment, the list goes on. To add to that list, this styled shoot certainly included one of our personal favorites: ALPACAS!

We’ve had the pleasure of working with the team at Texas Party Animals on previous weddings and it’s safe to say they’re always the perfect addition for a memorable wedding day.

And, of course, incorporating these furry friends into your wedding pics is always a great idea as well! How adorable do all of these photos look?!

Outdoor Event Space in Conroe, TX

When you book your wedding at Madera Estates, you’ll have access to both an indoor and outdoor event space. This allows for everything from a ceremony in front of the Grand Fireplace, a candle-lit reception inside the Hacienda, a final dance under the stars or a number of other possibilities.

The main stage for this styled shoot would be right in front of the Grand Fireplace. This is certainly a popular backdrop at Madera Estates, as well as working for both an outdoor ceremony or reception (weather permitting).

Floral arrangements are a massive part of every wedding celebration. They help tie into the overall theme and the Houston area is filled with so many talented florists!

On this styled shoot, there’s no question that College Park Flowers absolutely knocked this one out of the park. Based out of Houston, College Park Flowers always does amazing work and this is yet another example of that!

Getting All Glammed Up!

The final aspect of this styled shoot that we’ll highlight is the bride and groom’s attire, as well as the glam team. As pictured throughout this blog post, the bride’s wedding gown was supplied by Ventura’s Bridal Fashions. Meanwhile, the groom’s attire was courtesy of Bravo Suit and Tux.

And when it comes to the glam, awesome job by the talented folks at Beauty from Ashes Salon!

Just a Few More Shots!

Before we completely wrap up this blog, we couldn’t help but share a few more photos from this fun shoot! As mentioned in the introduction, styled shoots are a terrific way for various wedding vendors to showcase their talents. Whether it be the photographers, wedding cake makers, florists, wedding venues or anyone else, styled shoots are always exciting to check out and this one was no exception.

Throughout the course of this entire shoot, everything was laid out just perfectly and the different colors used really made the photos pop!

We’ve already highlighted it a few times throughout this blog, but until you see a cake that big in-person, it really is something that immediately grabs your attention. Well done by the team at The Chocolate Llama!

And as the shoot neared its end, guests were able to enjoy some live entertainment. Whether it be mariachi music, a live band or a DJ, having some music on-site is the perfect way to keep the dance floor filled all night long!

All in all, this was another fun shoot at Madera Estates! Dark Roux Photography did an excellent job capturing all of the special moments from start to finish.
