Who else enjoys looking back through wedding albums? We sure do! In addition to being able to reminisce on all of the magical elements from each of these special days, we also understand how these can be an excellent source of ideas and inspiration for engaged couples currently planning their own wedding days. This is a major reason why we often write blog posts doing just that and walking through past weddings held at our venue, Madera Estates. This week’s blog post will be no different, as we journey through Zoraida and Jordan’s amazing summer wedding that took place at Madera Estates last year. From start to finish, we think you’re going to love every single element of this magical celebration.
Prior to walking through Zoraida and Jordan’s summer wedding, we would like to thank all of the amazing vendors that helped make this wedding day come to life! Getting Ready Moments
As we often say, the getting ready moments before your ceremony are always so memorable!
Zoraida and her besties had a blast getting all glammed up inside the Champagne Suite. With the help of Kiss and Makeup Houston & Dream Hair Studios, they were all ready to go for the big day ahead.
Before we move on to the next stages in this wedding day, we had to share some of these awesome detail shots around the venue.
Safe to say everything was looking absolutely amazing on this summer afternoon!

Before we move forward to the rest of the pre-ceremony activities, we couldn’t not include our groom as well! After getting all spruced up in the Whiskey Lounge, Jordan and his groomsmen were ready to go.
First Look at Madera Estates
For those of you who are currently planning your big day, are you considering incorporating a “First Look” into your wedding timeline?
Zoraida and Jordan had their “First Look” inside the Hacienda, and we have to say those photos truly show just how precious this moment was.
These can be perfect for calming any pre-ceremony nerves and sharing a few words with your soon-to-be spouse.
Not to mention, a “First Look” will also allow you to take care of several of your formal photos before the ceremony gets underway, thus allowing you more time flexibility between the ceremony and reception.
Zoraida and Jordan were able to capture several of their wedding party, family and couple photos in this timeframe after the “First Look.”
We’re loving how some of these photos took place inside the Hacienda, as well as outside too.
One last stop before we get to the ceremony: let’s take a look inside the Hacienda where the reception will soon take place!
Wow! From the candlelight and all of the amazing decor to the crystal chandeliers above, we can’t wait to share more from their wedding reception.
Summer Wedding Ceremony at Madera Estates
And now it’s time for these two to become Mr and Mrs!
With their loved ones in attendance, Zoraida and Jordan exchanged their vows and said their “I Do’s” in front of the Grand Fireplace.

Wedding Reception at Madera Estates
We already provided a glimpse of the Hacienda earlier in this blog post, but it’s now officially time for the actual reception!
With friends and family cheering them on, our newlyweds made their grand entrance into the ballroom.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal shortly after, courtesy of the talented team at Churrascos Woodlands!
When it comes to longstanding wedding day traditions, a beautiful wedding cake has to be near the top of that list.
Anyone else obsessed with this marvelous creation from Cakes by Gina?
Next on the list of activities was a couple of other well-known wedding traditions, and those were the toasts and mother-son & father-daughter dances.
Without a doubt, these are such special moments and it’s no surprise why they’ve been popular traditions for so long!
Oh and did we mention they also had an ice cream cart there as well?!
Looking for a cool idea to share with your photographer? How about a night-time photo outside during the reception?
From start-to-finish, this reception was so much fun and everyone enjoyed plenty of dancing!
As the night came to a close, Zoraida and Jordan’s loved ones lined up outside for a final sparkler send-off!
We have to admit that you can’t go wrong with wrapping up your “Best Day Ever” this way.
