Welcome to Madera Estates! If you enjoy hearing love stories and getting first-hand glimpses at magical wedding days, you’ve come to the perfect place! For those new to our blog or venue, we are a Spanish and European-inspired wedding venue located in Conroe, TX. Every year, we’re blessed to have the opportunity to help transform dream weddings into realties. Having been in the wedding industry for more than a few years now myself, I feel confident in saying a wedding day is one of those events that never gets old, no matter how many times you witness it!

This week on the blog, we’re going to take you along for a journey as these two lovebirds tied the knot at Madera Estates. Just being around Alison and Graham makes you realize how truly in love they are! From the ceremony in front of the Grand Fireplace all the way to dancing the night away under the stars, this wedding really did resemble something straight out of a movie. Without further ado, let’s dive right in!

We’ll kick off this wedding day with Alison and her bridesmaids getting all glammed up! This special day took place shortly after the stay-at-home orders had been lifted here in Conroe, so you’ll notice Alison and the team at Ivanov Artistry rocking their facemasks as well! 

And how adorable is that “Mrs. Friday” custom clothes hanger that has the wedding dress on it?!

Alison and her favorite gals also took advantage of the opportunity to secure some beautiful photo ops! Wearing their matching wedding robes, they took photos both in the Champagne Suite and out in front of the Grand Fireplace! Perfect additions to the wedding album!

While the girls are getting ready for the day ahead, let’s stop by the Whiskey Lounge, where Graham and his groomsmen are sprucing up! For those new to our grooms suite, it really is a great hangout spot! Perfect for the guys to be able to relax and get dressed for the big day! It comes filled with a little bit of everything, including a big screen TV, Xbox, foosball table, private bathroom and your own complimentary selection of beer!

Time to show off that AMAZING wedding dress! Now that Alison is all glammed up, she took a few more photos inside the Champagne Suite with her parents and bridesmaids!

That first look moment! In recent years, first look’s have become more and more popular! Without a doubt, they always create a special moment and are certainly something neither the bride or groom will ever forget!

Time for the ceremony! As Alison is walked down the aisle, how precious are those custom socks worn by her dad?!

And before you know it, Alison and Graham are husband and wife! With the rings exchanged and “I Do’s” shared, the couple has officially tied the knot! Now it’s time to take a few more photos around the venue before the reception commences.

The Grand Fireplace tends to be one of the fan-favorite features here at Madera Estates. It served as a picturesque backdrop for Alison & Graham’s family and bridal party portraits following the ceremony!

And before we move on, beautiful work by Carter’s Florist on that stunning bridal bouquet!

Before the guests make their way to the reception, let’s take a quick look inside the Hacienda. This spacious ballroom can be utilized for a ceremony or reception, or even both! With crystal chandeliers, artisan-feature walls and candle-lit lanterns throughout, it truly is elegance personified!

The ballroom was set up beautifully for Alison & Graham’s celebration, complete with goodie bags on the backs of each chair titled, “The Friday’s.”

The newlyweds made their grand entrance into the ballroom and enjoyed their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. 

Did you know that Madera Estates also features a dedicated Cake Room? Kudos to Sweets to Dream On for this amazing cake! If you need someone to make a delicious and timeless cake in the Houston/Conroe area, it’s tough to go wrong with them! 

Toasts are always an important piece of every wedding! Safe to say plenty of laughs were had and even a few tears shed as their parents got up to say a few words!

With all of the formalities complete, it was time to really get the party started! From start to finish, this reception truly was such a fun celebration! With such nice weather, the newlyweds took their guests outside to celebrate under the stars! 

To be honest, it wasn’t too easy to narrow down the reception to just a few photos, but here are some of our favorites!

How awesome is this?! Alison & Graham’s big day had a unique feature to it and that involved a live wedding painting under the stars. The incredibly talented Brittney Drinkard made this portrait of the newlyweds in front of the Grand Fireplace while the reception was in progress! Such a cool keepsake! Last, but certainly not least, what better way to cap off the “best day ever” than with a sparkler send-off! These have become increasingly popular and are personally, one of my favorite ways to end a wedding! Congratulations Alison and Graham!
