Being in the wedding industry, it’s safe to say that we’re surrounded by love each and every day. Whether that be in the form of helping couples plan their dream wedding or hosting the big day itself, we always enjoy working with engaged couples.
For those of you who have followed some of our previous blog posts, you likely know that we often provide behind-the-scenes looks at actual weddings held at Madera Estates. And on this week’s blog, we’ll be reminiscing on Gloria and Brent’s special day. With an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, every single moment of this wedding day was just right and we’re excited to feature some of our favorite photos from their big day. Before getting started on that though, we would like to give a special thanks to all of the talented vendors that helped make this day a reality. The Houston and Conroe areas are filled with so many amazing wedding professionals, and we’re honored to have the opportunity to work with them. We’ll link many of the vendors throughout the blog, but we would like to give a shout-out now to Sweet Nest Photography for capturing the entire day so flawlessly, which includes the photos featured throughout this blog post.
All the Details
No matter if you just got engaged or are currently in the middle of wedding planning, you’ll quickly realize how many different details there are throughout an entire wedding day. One of these details happens to be the colors included and we absolutely loved this emerald color palette at Gloria and Brent’s wedding!
Taking a quick look both inside the Hacienda and outside by the Grand Fireplace, there’s no denying that everything was looking perfect! And how beautiful are these amazing floral arrangements from HEB Blooms?!
Inside the Whiskey Lounge
At Madera Estates, couples are provided access to both our bridal suite and the groom’s suite. Pictured below is an inside look at the Whiskey Lounge, which serves as the groom’s suite. With a foosball table, big screen TV and plenty more, it’s perfect for hanging out before the day’s festivities get underway!
Not to mention, it’s also a great spot for capturing some photos both of the groom by himself and with his groomsmen!
As a sign of what’s to come, who else loves the beautiful backdrop of this mid-February wedding?! While you can still have some winter weather in February, Gloria and Brent had the perfect day for their wedding!
Inside the Champagne Suite
Meanwhile, the other suite at Madera Estates is known as the Champagne Suite. Makeup By Sheila handled the glam for this wedding, and had Gloria and her favorite gals all ready to go for the big day!
We’re loving this stunning wedding gown! Emerald is definitely a trendy color for winter weddings and we have to admit that the bridesmaids’ dresses were amazing too!
Before we head outside for the ceremony though, we had to show just a few more pics of our bride-to-be!
Time for the “I Do’s!”
As we briefly mentioned earlier in this blog, Gloria and Brent’s wedding ceremony would be held in front of the Grand Fireplace. This piece often serves as a popular backdrop for outdoor weddings hosted at Madera Estates.
There’s nothing quite like seeing your soon-to-be spouse and the love of your life on the walk down the aisle at your wedding!
While you can’t always predict the weather when you’re planning a wedding, Mother Nature definitely cooperated on this February afternoon!
And before you know it, these two are officially Mr and Mrs! Congratulations to Gloria & Brent!
Post-Ceremony Photos
After the ceremony had concluded, Gloria and Brent took some time to capture a few photos around the venue! Couples often elect to use this time period for pictures while their guests enjoy a cocktail hour.
Simply adorable! Again, kudos to Sweet Nest Photography on an amazing photo album, as they were able to capture every single moment just right!
Time for the Reception
After getting all of the wedding party and family formal photos knocked out, it was now time for the reception! The newlyweds’ reception would be held inside the ballroom, also referred to as the Hacienda. From the crystal chandeliers to the candle-lit lanterns and more, our couples tend to love utilizing this space!
Once the wedding party and all of the guests had made their way into the ballroom, they were all ready for Gloria and Brent to make their grand entrance!
Everyone in attendance enjoyed some delicious catering from Churrascos and then it was time for the toasts! Plenty of laughs were had and even a few tears may have been shed!
A delicious wedding cake is a must, right?! Cakes by Gina hit a home run on this one and everyone loved the scrumptious cake!
A dance under the stars with your new spouse? YES! Whether it be in the form of a dance outside, sparkler send-off or anything else, we always recommend incorporating some type of night-time element to your wedding. Trust us, the photos will be absolutely stunning!
