“Where there is love there is life.” – Mahatma Gandhi. Being in the wedding industry, each and every wedding we’re able to be a part of is special. Whether it be first meeting with couples and hearing all about their love story, working with them to craft the most amazing wedding day or of course, the big day itself, there are simply so many memorable moments along the way.

A common theme on our blog is inside looks at different weddings held at our venue, Madera Estates. It’s always exciting to check out the finished wedding photo albums, as well as share glimpses of different stages of the weddings for those seeking ideas for their own wedding day! In this week’s blog post, we’ll be following along with Paulina and Dylan’s special day. We think you’re going to absolutely love all of the beautiful photos, as these two shared an early-spring wedding last year.

In addition, before getting started, we would like to give a special thanks to all of the talented vendors that helped out with this celebration. Vendor selection is undoubtedly an important aspect of the wedding planning process and one that you’ll want to take your time with as you plan out your wedding day. We’ll include a complete list of vendors from Paulina and Dylan’s wedding at the end. Kudos to Dark Roux Photography for all of the beautiful photos featured throughout this blog post.

Before the “I Do’s”

It goes without saying that first looks have grown increasingly popular over the years. This can likely be attributed to a number of different reasons, but you can’t deny they create the most adorable photos!

Paulina and Dylan opted for a first look on their wedding day and we love how all of these photos turned out. By the way, how stunning is that vibrant flower bouquet? Wonderful job by Tin Cup Flower Co! It definitely matches the spring season flawlessly!

An added benefit of having a first look is the ability to take a handful of your photos before the ceremony gets underway. This can definitely help in streamlining the transition from ceremony to reception, while ensuring you won’t feel rushed in the time in-between. Not to mention, it can also be a great way to calm some pre-ceremony nerves, as you’ll enjoy a special moment with your soon-to-be spouse.

With the extra time available, Paulina and Dylan utilized it to capture photos throughout the venue.

If you’re planning on tying the knot at Madera Estates, this should give you a few ideas of potential backdrops for photos! It never hurts to have plenty of options, right?

If you follow us on Facebook or Instagram, you’ve likely seen the Grand Fireplace before.

It serves as the signature backdrop for many wedding ceremonies at Madera Estates and would do just that for this spring wedding! Prior to the actual ceremony though, Paulina and Dylan were able to take several formal photos (both with their wedding party and family) first.

Sneak Peek at the Reception

Before we feature their outdoor wedding ceremony, we wanted to provide a sneak peek at the set-up for their reception first. How amazing is that wedding cake created by The Flour Petal Bakery?! Every detail is simply stunning!

Paulina and Dylan’s reception would take place inside the Hacienda. Safe to say everything looked just right for the celebration that would follow the ceremony!

Time for the “I Do’s”

And now, it’s officially time to make these two Mr. and Mrs! Everything looked amazing for this outdoor wedding ceremony.

As mentioned above, Paulina and Dylan’s ceremony took place in front of the Grand Fireplace.

After their vows had been said and rings were exchanged, Paulina and Dylan are now husband and wife! Congratulations!

Next up on the schedule: celebrating the newly married couple!

Wedding Reception at Madera Estates

Shortly after the ceremony, the couple took the time to capture a few more formal photos in front of the Grand Fireplace before guests made their way into the Hacienda for the reception.

Paulina and Dylan made their grand entrance into the Hacienda, and then enjoyed a first dance together as husband and wife.

One wedding tradition that has undoubtedly withstood the test of time are toasts! At this wedding reception, some of the newlyweds’ loved ones shared speeches that filled the room with laughter and even a few tears too!

Yet another long-lasting wedding tradition is the serving of wedding cake! We provided a glimpse of Paulina and Dylan’s beautiful wedding cake earlier in this blog post. There are definitely plenty of stunning possibilities when it comes to wedding cakes nowadays and it’s always amazing to see the sheer detail that goes into them!

Now it’s time to get the party started!

It took no time for the dance floor to be packed as everyone celebrated this special day! What a fun night!

Who else loves a sparkler send-off?! It really is tough to go wrong with incorporating a sparkler send-off into your wedding day timeline.

Surrounded by family and friends, Paulina and Dylan enjoyed a final dance together under the stars to cap off their “Best Day Ever.” Cheers to the newlyweds!

We would like to give a special thank you to Paulina and Dylan for allowing us to help with their special day! From start-to-finish, it was truly a magical wedding day filled with countless memorable moments.
