Having hosted hundreds of weddings over the years at our venue, we’ve had the opportunity to work with so many amazing couples as they plan their special day. In doing so, we can confidently say that every single wedding day is filled with numerous memorable moments. For those of you who are familiar with our wedding blog, you likely know that we often provide inside looks at past weddings held at our wedding venue. This not only provides readers with more information about hosting your wedding at Madera Estates, but also can be an excellent source of ideas and inspiration for your big day.

Having said that, with this week’s blog post, we’ll be looking back on Daniella and Hugh’s wedding day that took place earlier this year. From start to finish, their June wedding celebration was simply magical. Whether it be the first look moment, the picture-perfect ceremony, the fun-filled reception or anything else, this June wedding had it all! Before getting started though, we would like to thank all of the talented vendors that helped make this amazing wedding a reality. We’ll provide you with a complete list of vendors at the end, but we did want to give a shout-out to Jones & Co. Photography for supplying all of the stunning photos featured throughout this blog post.

Pre-Ceremony Activities

In the hours leading up to your “I Do’s,” it’s safe to say there are a few things that will occupy this time period.

First things first though, we always love sharing some detail shots around the venue before the day’s festivities get underway.

We will begin this blog post in the getting ready suites where Daniella, Hugh and the rest of the wedding party are getting all ready to go!

For those new to our wedding venue, there are two getting ready suites that couples can utilize: the Champagne Suite and the Whiskey Lounge. Hugh and his groomsmen were in the Whiskey Lounge, while Daniella and her bridesmaids were in the Champagne Suite.

After hair and makeup was complete, it was now time for the always-special first look!

It goes without saying that first looks can create the most memorable moments for any couple. In addition to that though, they can also be perfect for adding some time flexibility in-between your ceremony and reception as you can now take many of the formal photos before the ceremony.

And once Daniella and Hugh finished their first look (which as the photos show, was absolutely precious!), it was time to complete some of the formal photos before the ceremony would get underway.

Along with these photos of Daniella and Hugh, they were also able to capture both wedding party photos and family ones before the ceremony too! We’re loving this color palette that you’ll see below with the bridesmaids’ dresses and bouquets.

Time for the “I Do’s!”

For this June wedding ceremony, Daniella and Hugh would say their “I Do’s” in front of the Grand Fireplace, which serves as a popular backdrop for many wedding ceremonies at Madera Estates.

The weather was perfect on this June evening and the couple exchanged their vows with their loved ones in attendance.

And just like that, Daniella and Hugh are officially Mr and Mrs!

Wedding Reception at Madera Estates

After the ceremony had concluded, Daniella and Hugh, along with the entire wedding party, made their way to the Whiskey Lounge where they had a glass of champagne. Meanwhile, their guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers during the cocktail hour.

That brings us to the wedding reception, which would take place inside the Hacienda, and it’s safe to say the beautiful floral arrangements from Always Floral were on full display here!

Add in some candlelight, as well as a sneak peek at the beautiful wedding cake (shout-out to Cakes by Gina!) and we can’t wait to share more from this awesome wedding reception.

Once everyone had made their way into the ballroom, it was time for Daniella and Hugh to make their grand entrance!

With friends and family looking on, the newlyweds enjoyed their first dance together as husband and wife.

After guests had a delicious meal from Churrascos Woodlands, toasts were the next item on the agenda. Several toasts were made and there were definitely a few laughs throughout the room!

We provided you with a brief glimpse of the stunning wedding cake above, but we couldn’t not feature these adorable cake cutting moments too! And of course, how beautiful is that cake from Cakes by Gina?

After that, it was time to open the dance floor! A.M. Productions had everyone dancing in no time! In addition to that, this wedding reception included so much more, like the tasty treats featured below and even a photo booth from Picture Us Houston too!

As the night came to a close, our newlyweds were able to enjoy one final wedding day dance together in the Hacienda!

Meanwhile, as this was going on, their guests were lining up outside for the final send-off!
