Given that we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving this week and will officially be in the holiday season, we can definitely say that 2023 has been a fun year filled with countless amazing wedding celebrations! From having the opportunity to hear new love stories, work with couples in the months leading up to their big day and of course, the magical wedding days themselves, it’s certainly a blast working in the wedding world.
While you’ll notice that many of our blog posts highlight tips for creating a seamless wedding planning process and bringing dream weddings to life, this week we are going to take a slightly different approach. Throughout this week’s blog post, we’ll be taking a look at a few of the many things that we’re thankful for here at Madera Estates. For those of you who may be new to our venue, Madera Estates is a luxury wedding venue and event space located in Conroe, just north of Houston and The Woodlands. Each and every year, we have the opportunity to work with engaged couples as they start planning every detail of their wedding day. First and foremost, we are extremely thankful for all of the amazing couples that pick Madera Estates to serve as the backdrop for their big day! We understand how special your wedding day is and feel honored to be a part of it. Not to mention, we also always enjoy seeing all of the new and unique ideas that couples mention when discussing what they have envisioned for their dream wedding day. When we say no two wedding days are the same, we mean it! Just take a look through our Instagram feed and you’ll see unique aspects in each and every wedding featured. In order to create these magical wedding days, you definitely need a team of talented professionals, right? Teamwork is needed for any business to succeed and that is no different when it comes to running a wedding venue. From the initial tours where we show couples around our venue all the way through the wedding day itself, thank you to everyone on the Madera Estates team! We’ve said it before, but you simply can’t understate the important role that wedding vendors serve in each and every wedding celebration. Caterers, photographers, videographers, florists, DJ’s, you name it! This is a big reason why we like to provide plenty of tips on our blog for couples looking to build their wedding vendor dream team. Each of them will have a unique job in your wedding and hiring a talented group of professionals will only add to the magic of your wedding day. As for us at Madera Estates, we’re lucky enough to have been able to work with several of these talented and knowledgeable wedding vendors over the years. When following wedding professionals on social media, you may notice they often tag vendors who took part in that particular event. If you’re looking for local vendors to consider for your own big day, this can be an excellent tool to utilize!
Wedding Trends
Much as is the case with various other industries, the wedding world is also one that is consistently growing and evolving. Whether that be as a result of couples coming up with unique ideas, vendors utilizing their creative skill-sets or anything else, there’s no denying that more and more new trends are always popping up. Being a wedding venue, this certainly is exciting to witness first-hand! Having said that, we wanted to highlight a few wedding trends that we’ve enjoyed seeing.
Firework Displays – While this may not be a trend that is brand new, it is something that we don’t see going away anytime soon! Over the years, we’ve been lucky to have had numerous couples opt to incorporate firework displays into their wedding celebrations and they always create such a memorable experience. By the way, if you ever see some of the photos from these as well, I’m going to guess that it will at the very least pique your interest! Trust us, it’ll create a moment you’ll never forget! The one key thing to remember is to make sure you hire someone with experience for this. That way, you won’t have to worry about them potentially not having the correct permits and so on!
360 Photo Booths – When planning a wedding, your guests will likely factor into many decisions that you’ll make. You’ll consider them when making a seating chart, creating wedding favors and so on. Yet another aspect will be ensuring a fun reception for everyone there as you celebrate this special occasion! Of course, a DJ or live band will be a big part of this! However, don’t forget about some of the other elements worth incorporating in addition to that. One that is definitely rising in popularity are the 360 photo booths. We know your guests will have plenty of fun with them and they also create a cool short video that your guests can share on social media!
Wedding Hashtags – Without a doubt, the wedding industry is one that has many digital aspects to it. Having said that, one example of this is how it relates to social media. First off, I’m sure you’ve seen the personalized hashtags on social media for couples tying the knot. It’s usually a play on words with last names, the wedding date or even specific interests. Nonetheless, one neat thing about having a personalized hashtag for your celebration is that it essentially creates a digital photo album of all the photos that your friends and family share on social media! Whether it be including some signage on the wedding day, having an insert with the invitation or any other way you can think of, just make sure to spread the word about using that hashtag.
