With that all being said, we’re excited to look back on Shadlene and Matthew’s wedding today! This stunning September wedding took place a couple of years back at Madera Estates and it’s definitely been a joy to check out this awesome photo gallery once again. These two tied the knot at a local church, St. Anthony of Padua, before heading back to Madera Estates for the reception. From start to finish, it was a magical celebration and we can’t wait to share part of it with you. We would like to thank all of the talented wedding pros that helped bring this September wedding day to life! This includes the awesome Weddings Unlimited who served as the photographer, videographer and DJ for this special day. At the end of this post, you’ll find a complete vendor list.

Getting Ready Moments
Shadlene and Matthew’s wedding ceremony took place at a nearby church in The Woodlands, St. Anthony of Padua. Prior to heading there, the couple took advantage of the getting ready suites at Madera Estates to get all glammed up.
How beautiful does the bride-to-be, Shadlene, look in her wedding gown?
Meanwhile, as Shadlene and her besties were getting all ready in the Champagne Suite, Matthew and the guys were getting spruced up in the Whiskey Lounge.
With everyone ready to go, it’s just about time to make these two Mr and Mrs!
Anyone else ready for more from this wedding day?
September Wedding Ceremony
Located close by in The Woodlands, St. Anthony of Padua would serve as the location for Shadlene and Matthew’s ceremony.
As seen by the photos, the church looked absolutely beautiful for this special occasion!
And before you know it, these two are officially husband and wife!
Congratulations to Shadlene and Matthew!
Prior to heading back to the venue, they were also able to take several photos at the church.
Kudos to Weddings Unlimited on an awesome job building out this photo album!
September Wedding Reception at Madera Estates
Once back at the venue, the newlyweds were able to capture several more photos, including those with the wedding party.
Safe to say everyone is looking forward to the quickly-approaching reception!
Shadlene and Matthew’s reception took place inside the Hacienda, which is certainly a popular spot for wedding receptions year-round at Madera.
Churrascos Catering prepared a delicious meal for everyone in-attendance and simply put, this reception included so many awesome components. From the 1-year anniversary pinata that would be filled with notes from their loved ones, to the signature drinks and decor throughout, this was definitely a memorable celebration!
The desserts didn’t disappoint either! Not to mention, how cool is this Michigan groom’s cake?
And the main wedding cake was just as spectacular! Kudos to World Catering Bakery on this marvelous creation.
Now that you’ve seen a sneak peek at a few of the reception components, let the celebrating begin! After their friends and family had made their way into the Hacienda, it was time for our newlyweds to make their grand entrance.
After that, Shadlene and Matthew enjoyed their first dance together as husband and wife.
Toasts had the room filled with laughter (and maybe a few happy tears too)!
When talking about precious moments on a wedding day, you can’t forget the cake cutting. This is always special and a perfect addition to any wedding photo album!
And then it was time to open up the dance floor! With Weddings Unlimited providing the DJ services, this dance floor was packed all evening.
Just as we routinely mention on other blog posts, one of the coolest parts of the wedding industry is the fact that there are a seemingly endless number of potential ideas. This September wedding reception had a unique component that we absolutely LOVED!
How fun is this “Paint Station” where all of their loved ones were able to add something special to this truly one-of-kind work of art?
From start-to-finish, this was a true celebration of love! As the evening drew to a close, Shadlene and Matthew’s guests lined up outside for a final send-off. Meanwhile, the newlyweds were able to take this opportunity to enjoy one final dance in the Hacienda.
This is becoming a popular trend here at Madera Estates and we certainly encourage couples to consider adding it to their wedding day timeline!
When closing out your “Best Day Ever,” you can’t go wrong with a sparkler send-off!
We would like to thank Shadlene and Matthew for allowing us to be a part of their special day! From the entire team at Madera Estates, we wish you two a lifetime filled with love and happiness.
